Question for MG Rover Gurus---Britishtrident??
Does anyone know whether the male splines on the outer end of an mgzr 160 driveshaft fit the internal splines of a mgtf outer CV joint?!?!?!?!
I've heard they do?!

Don't know all I know is the splines at the other end should be the same as they both use the PG1 gearbox, so it looks like you need to
give it the ice lolly test --- suck it and see.

I think at least the spline count is the same, I'm going to get a MGTF CV joint and try it.
I'll let you know BT

I used to work for mg/rover/austin
And alot of parts mix and match
Very few cars had 1 off generic parts
Cars were designed from the stock they had to hand to keep costs down
I had a tour of alot of the factories and test facilities
