does anyone know if there are any other suitable suspension buch plastics apart form polyurethane

Acetal has been used before but has little or no compliance = very hard noisy ride.

Nylon is hydroscopic (absorbs water) so it would vary its compliance depending upon himidity, not ideal really i suspect it would wear quite rapidly.
