Brake master cylinder dia? - Midengined

HI All

I am about to order some brake master cylinders to use with a bias bar in my midengined project.

Have read the threads on this, and with the aid of Mike Polan's great spreadsheet, I have decided on 0.75" front, 0.625 rear as diameters, from either Wilwood or Tilton.

Brake specs are:

Front - Cortina, 2 pot calipers (one to each side of disc) pot diameter 50 mm (2", brake disc diameter 248 mm (9.75 inch)

Rear - Golf GTI,1 pot calipers (only one per disc, sliding frame caliper) pot diameter 37 mm (1.5", brake disc diameter 226 mm (9 inch).

I am presuming the car will weight about 750 kg, and tyre sizes are 225/50/15 and 195/50/15. Brake pedal ratio will be 5 or 6 to 1.

Anybody care to comment on my choice of cylinders or add any more advice before I go ahead?

Regards

Fred WB
