Car pulls to the right
Hi all
Ive had this problem for a couple of years, and I would say only since removing all the front suspension for a repaint/refresh
I think it is related to camber / castor slightly wrong on the drivers side as that was the side I renewed both top and bottom swivels
Both wheel bearings are fine, as that's something else I wondered
For info tracking IS parrelal, ie zero
tyre pressures are all 16 psi (rechecked today)
and problem only apparent while driving in a straight line, if I take my hands off the steering wheel the car will wander to the right
if I hit the brakes, it goes right quite a bit
any on ?

Is one brake slightly binding ?
What camber are you running (top of the wheel in/out) ?

Since it pulls harder under braking, I'll go with the right calliper sticking slightly.

One thing it won't be is brakes, if it were a sticking brake the direction the steering car pulling would reverse when you hit the brakes.
It sounds like unequal caster or camber pull to me but it could be a half a dozen other things, including corner weights and rear end alignment
thrust line.
Start with the simple things the first thing to do is check the steering rack is centred up --- from the straight ahead position count the exact
number of turns on the steering until the rack reaches the end stops at each side.

Well its a lot better now !
I moved the right hand top whishbone back one washer 3mm ish and its a lot better hands off in a straight line pretty well drives straight
so a tad more will do the job
