MX5 Brake Pads on Seven type car 560kgs
Hi
What are the best pads to use for track and road use. Where is the best place to buy them.

Mx5 calipers? Red or yellow stuff pads??

Guess it depends on what size MX5 brakes you have,
For track and road use than EBC green stuff have served me very well.
For more aggresive mainly trackday use, then as coozer says, just beware that without extra cooling the caliper itself can get too hot and blow the
seals (I found this happened when using red stuff on an MX 5) should be ok on a kit cat though as most people ditch the tin backing shield behind the
disc.
Never under estimate the ingenuity of an idiot!

Drop me a message, I can sort pads (and discs) for you.
I run DS2500s on my MX5 based kit car. It's a race car so only used on the track but they work from cold and will happily take abuse for 2 hours
in an endurance race and still come back for more.
Otherwise the EBC Yellows are a very good track pad.
