Pedal box / master cylinder

Has anyone used the pedal box/master cylinder set up from a cavvy in their car?
I don't want to strip the donor if it won't do the job.

I thought about using the one from the calibra doner i used, which I would think is the same as the cavy one, but decided against it because it's too big and doesn't look the part
