De Dion Kit
Quick simple question - well ok, it's actualy 2 quick simple questions........
If you buy a GTS De Dion kit does the axle bit come ready assembled or does it come as a 'kit' for you to put together?
(or does the 'kit' bit refer to the trailing arms, diff mounts etc?)
Also are GTS the only people who still make De Dion stuff?
I'm NOT looking to start a debate on which rear end works the best here btw

The GTS de dion axle is complete and welded up. Along with the axle you will need 4 trailing arms and a panhard rod.
As for who else makes De Dion stuff, MK used to, not sure if they still do though.
If you want to have a go at making your own de dion, there are plans on my website.
Cheers,

Yes, as MikeR says I am working on a de-dion kit to fit the book chassis, and to escort width (or very close to it). Hopefully sometime this month. It
will be in kit form, as in welding together a buch of parts, it will include all parts to make the de-dion axle and the panhard rod parts. Trailing
arms can be supplied if needed.
Thanks
John.
