Sierra rear disc conversion
OK - I know this has been covered but I can't find the relevant thread/s
I want to put discs on the back of my Avon, I know I need mounting plates - which i intend to get from MNR.
BUT.. which discs do i need ? are they standard Sierra items ?
same for calipers ? they come up on eBay all the time but tend to be Cosworth calipers - are these actually different?
cheers
Dave

You want sierra 2wd std 2.0 or sierra 4x4 2.0, 2.8 or 2.9 rear calipers (all the same) and std sierra solid 253mm rear discs.
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

You can also take the rear calipers of a Scorpio, they should be the same and probably easier to find.

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Late face lifted Scorpio's with the silly grill were 4 stud and the earlier Granada/Scorpio's were 5 stud.
