Before I weld it up - any advice please
Hi
Just done some modifying of my pedal setup using a brake lever from a crashed westie. I have got two support bars that I plan to weld to the chassis
rails and bulkhead (only one is in the pic)
Can anybody point out any problems pls before its too late

How much travel will you have on the pedal? It looks a bit upright and close to the bulkhead in your picture. The bar in the picture looks a bit like
overkill, some 3mm plate would be plenty to stop it flexing. It looks like you have left your floor in across the front of the tunnel as well, you may
have to cut that out as far back as the tunnel crossmember.

Hi for the strenght across the baulkhead use 3mm thick 25x25 andgle welded to the frame at the ends and bolt through the panell put it across the
baulkhead just above the cylenders.
Or wait untill saturday and we can see if you have enough travel on the pedal setup and see what else needs attention. And i have sent you a u2u
regarding the steering one way or the other you will get that sorted saturday also.

the top pair of bolts go through the fat bar but I can't work out what is holding the lower ones.
angle bracket will be better - stronger lighter than that chunky piece - you may find that thick bar hard to weld.
