ring gears

Hi all,
I am asking for any ideas of where to look for ring gears for my reverse kit ,I have been told that i should be looking for auto ones as these are the best option,cheers gary.

My local scrap yard had a big pile 'o flywheels and torque converter plates that I had a look through. You're right it will be much easier to get the ring gear off of a torque converter mounting plate than a flywheel.

eidt: assuming you want to get it off that is. I dunno how these reverse systems are made, but maybe you'd just use a torque converter mounting plate as it is and leave the ring gear on? Well either way that's what you want.
