Rear wishbones and IRS

Are there any drawings available for a decent IRS set-up complete with wishbone dimensions. I dont mind cad drawings as long as they can be opened in TurboCAD 4 ('cause its free ) Have seen lots of pics, but i have not found any drawings, which at the moment is quite fustrating . I am at the moment at the early stages of the project, (planning, designing and dreaming) and any advice would be very helpfull!!!

Due to the low weight of the lowcost you'd be better off with a deon set up like Caterham or Strathcarron. IRS won't control the wheel angles as well as deon at this weight range as variations in weight such as driver, passenger, fuel, luggage, etc will cause proportionaly much larger changes in the wheel angles than for ordinary cars. Another thing, don't bother with the five link set up which is not as good as other link arrangements for this type of car. Again Strathcarron and Caterham are good examples of what works very very well. I'd use a four link deon with lower links angled inwards from the deon tube ends to the bottom corners of the back of the transmission tunnel. top links as ordinary lowcost, straight forwards to chassis sides.

Any info on where to find out about deon suspension?

I'm going IRS, and had planned to do wishbones, but having read the last post, i think i should at least look into it.

Thanks.

John
