wobbly steering column!!
Hi chaps,
I seem to have steering problems!
after fitting the steering column (sierra column in a tiger avon), with all tightened up, the top of the column describes a circle when you turn the
column- looks like the column must be bent
anyone had any similar probs?

Have you got the lower bush in?

I found that a few Avons have the lower tube (that holds the plastic bush) very poorly aligned and everyone I know had to cut it off and re-position
it.
Symptons point to a bent column....

Kinda related to wobbly Sierra columns on mine the triangular bush at the upper end of the column has worn. So the sliding inner tringular section can
turn a few degrees before the slack is taken up. Might be worth checking.
