second hand wheels

Well, I bought some second hand alloys from a fellow memeber. He was probably unaware of this, but at least one alloy wheel had been plastic filled on the rim then painted. The crack extended between the spokes. This is probably scrap..

Just a warning to others, be very carefull in bying second hand stuff

don't all jump on me, but I'm sure there are companies out there that will repair that sort of thing... for a p[rice. whether the wheels are worth it or not is another matter and whether it'll be as good as new is another topic....
