MT75 Do'nut ?

I've seen posts refering to a six inch rubber do'nut on the output to an MT75 gearbox users have removed before fitting a modified prop shaft. The box I have does not have a rubber do'nut but does have a six inch wheel with quite a heavy flange bolted to a three spoked output flange. Should I remove this and use the measurement from the output flange to the diff to determine the propshaft length or should I leave it installed?

The donut is a flywheel, it looks like a rubber item but its not. Bin it and when you order the prop let them know the set up you have, it will be a 3 "finger" style casting. I was sent an adaptor plate which allows a standard ug to be fitted on the end of the prop.
