Wishbone weld ridge

I'm currently trying to assemble my MK Indy suspension but the inside of the wishbone tubes have a ridge where they are attached to the wishbone arms and this is making it difficult to get the bushes in. Should i remove this or can i push the bushes in with a vice? If i remove them will it affect the strength of the wishbone?

It's the seam in the tube. General concensus is that it helps to lock the bush in place but if you can't get them in file it down a bit and loctite them.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
