Brake System working pressure
Can any one tell me what the max pressure is in the brake lines. Currently I have tested mine lines to 140 psi (10 Bar) without any leaks. Do I need
to go higher?
FYi Rigged up a compresser to the master cylinder inlet and used gas-pipe leak detector fluid (Squeeze and water) to check for bubbles at all joints.
It holds!.

Just bleed the brakes, then jump in and press the brake pedal as hard as you can, and hold for a few seconds. Repeat a couple of times. No leaks =
thumbs up. Saves running a water mix into the brake lines.......
Dont just build it.....make it!

From memory, the average insured, panicing driver can cause a pressure of 3200psi 5 nanoseconds before the inevitable event!
We get insurance company circulars on a monthly basis, full of crap and normally useless information
THIS IS THE FIST TIME I HAVE USED ANY OF THIS INFORMATION, 12 YEARS OF MONTHLY SHIT FROM 8 INSURANCE COMPANIES, THATS 1152 ISSUES - who said it was a
waste of time?
Doesn't that make it all worth while ! )
