Axle Position

Hi Guys,

As I'm using the Sierra IRS, and don't have a live axle to play with, could someone let me know the distance from the back of M1/M2 to the centre of their axle. This should give me a good idea where the Sierra subframe is going to fit into my chassis.

Thanks very much

If M1 is the Btm rear chassis rail, (iv'e lent my book to a budding builder) mine is 6 1/2". Live cortina axle.

Jon,

Thanks for reply. M1/M2 is the rearmost vertical piece. I think that from where you are referring to M1 is 5 1/2", so I guess a total 12". Was your 5 1/2" to the centre of your axle or the front "edge"?

Thanks again

Jon,

My prev post did of course refer to your 6 1/2" measurement, not 5 1/2". Then it would add up to 12"
