Cortina Ball Joint Thread Size

Tried a search and got nothing and not having one sat next to me...... who can tell me what the thread size is on a Cortina balljoint?

I'm sure the rack end is threaded 1/2" UNEF.

Sorry, probably should have said which ball joint - I'm after the thread size of the bottom ball joint that fits into the upright.

depends on the manufacturer of the balljoint

i'd say 1/2"UNF would be a reasonable assumption though or M12x1.25

I reckon its M14 but a fine thread poss1.5

I know this thread originated over 12 months ago but just thought I'd add to it in case it can help anybody else (as indeed it did me!)

The thread on my Cortina bottom ball joint is definatley M14 fine (1.5mm pitch) 'cos I've just bought and fitted 2 new nuts
