You need to lever out the horn in the center of the wheel....

A big screwdriver and a hammer will do if you dont want to re-use the wheel....

Then undo the big nut and remove the washer....

Hit the wheel from behind with a hammer/brick to pop it off the taper...

Jobs a goodun!

AND make sure that the key is in the ignition so that the steering lock is dis engaged as that also locks into the back of the steering wheel.

If you are sitting in the drivers seat and pulling on the steering wheel, leave the nut on a couple of turns so when it does pop off you dont hit yourself in the face with it.

Putting you knees under the bottom and pulling on the top, move it side to side a little, 9/10 you wont have to hit it.
