Unless it was on your grounds (or possibly right outside) how in the name of Jesus Horatio Christ is that your problem?
What if the school was shut anyway, and the little darling slipped on the same bit of pavement whilst chucking a rock-filled snowball at a car.
Who's fault is it now? Actually, I already know the answer, it'll be the council's fault now
