If it's not been mentioned already, worth looking at the slicks you intend to use and their construction - ACB10 are crossplies while all the others mentioned are radials. Id choose something with the same construction as your track tyres or you'll be forever adjusting alignment.

Good point, I understand radials work better with a good bit more camber.

as a general rule crospply slicks (and ACB10s - same carcass) need very littl camber or toe whereas radials love a bit of camber!

whats the projected weight for the TR8? reason is im sure max recommended weight for the ACB10s was around 800kg.

i usd to run ACB10s and as a sprint and hills tyre, there are better out there. good as a circuit control tyre on a light car though (think 7 type )
