Only problem is, do I get this or the Epona, or risk a divorce and go for both!?

Easy, just bolt an old starter motor to a second ring gear on the diff. There's no need for reverse box, as per quaife. Nitram's doing one
for his current project.

That is awesome, can't wait for the book.
Any hint on whether there are any V8+transaxle (not the insane 2xBEC one) that could be squeezed in - would make it completely perfect - though the
BEC option is pretty close.

It's got some nice period details in the chassis too, should look fantastic when built.

If you're designing your own bodywork you could "stretch" the chassis a bit to suit a car engine, but I've got enough on doing
the bike engined version!

Fair enough, book will take even longer and lose focus if you put in everything we kick around.

There is.........
..........but it's a secret, I could tell you but I'd have to.....etc.
The car uses a steering rack and column from a common production car.
