Whats holding yours up?
Im just planning my steering and wondered what i am supposed to use to hold the steering in place at the uj between the column and the rack.
ETA - Pics would be helpful

I havn't got anything between the steering rack and the shaft except the UJ

If yours is like the one above then I can understand why you need to support it.
Mine just has one directly on to the steering rack and the other is onto the steering colum as it goes through the bulkhead, so no need for extra
support.

Oh right. Because of the size of my engine, i have to take mine straight before it goes down to the rack

Bracket/plate on the pedal box with the Sierra lower bearing assembly (plastic thing)
