Cv joint covers uppdate
Still struggling to get the right ones for my car mine are 78mm dia where they fit on the joint about 45mm long and about 56mm where the boot fits
over. My ford dealer has been very "good" stating they can do them at £28.00 each!!!!! they gave me part numbers of 6476495 or
89bg4k240ba any help would be appreciated the smaller ones were £2.81 each so is this a clerical error ie decimal point etc ( they say not)

I have got 3 CV joint covers in the garage that may be the right size If they are then you can have them for the cost of postage. Will measure them
tonight and then post a pic and dimensions on thursday.
( the metal plate that covers the CV joint and the boot clips over )

Not sure if they are the right size. They are westfiled supplied ones that I bought 4 years ago as a set of 4 and used just one. They fit the CV
joints on my bolt on shafts.
A= 100mm
B=25mm
C=65mm
edit - are yours push in or bolt on drive shafts?

Paul, thank you for all the effort you have gone to, but mine are the push on ones. Although the cover were £31.00 each would you believe! however I
have checked with my ford dealer again and they can provide the covers with the rubber gaiters for £9.41 each mad or what? so I have ordered them. But
thanks again for your time. Kev

As i said on one of your many previous threads - mine where about 10 quid with rubber cover from ford a couple of months ago.
it pays to make friends with the ford counter guys, well at least it does with the garage where i am. They try and find things for you. I was after a
bolt and between us we searched through the whole range of fiestas and ka's hoping the revisions of the engine may have used the same bolt
(can't for the life of me remember what is was for as my engine is an imperial crossflow).
