front suspension jigging??

does anyone have any info on places to buy the locating jigs for the front suspension brackets on a haynes roadster?

im looking at the alignment jigs for the brackets and thinking i cant be arsed to buy the metal, accurately position it and weld it etc, does anyone know of anybody that makes these jigs, or indeed jigs that are designed better, that are laser cut to easily slot together giving pinpoint accuracy on the hole positions?

failing that how did you guys jig up your front suspension brackets, in a cheap locost but accurate way?
thanks al

is that on making the jig, or just on the positioning of the front suspension brackets freehand?

You need a jig to fabricate the actual wishbones, but it is pretty simple to position the brackets on the chassis.

Get yourself a few clamps or grips and mark out the first bracket position.

Position the bracket and clamp in place. double check the postion making small alterations if neccisary then tack and move on to the next.

It will probably be more work to make the jig and try and use it to than it would to simply weld the brackets on 'freehand'!!
