torque settings

I have the rally design (cortina geometry) uprights but am unsure what torque I should use at the top and bottom of the upright i.e. connecting to the wishbones.

I have a copy of the cortina torque settings but am unsure of the descriptions - is this correct below

upper arm pivot bolt = top wishbone
lower arm to crossmember = bottom wishbone

thanks

Just do them up to a reasonable pull on a 2' bar. Should be around 35-40lbft if memory serves me correctly.

Cheers,
David

I have been losely tightening my car around a sierra haynes manual. From that i think ive done mine 48-63 lbft but will always mark important bolts with a line of paint and check them quickly before after a drive

I've not torqued a single bolt on my car, They are all just to what feels about right.

That said I'm a mechanic by trade so probably have a better idea than most over what should be how tight.
