Is a Locost (Lotus 7) with a fiat 125 engine, the front tires are 185/60/14

Depends on the width of the wheel as well

I've got 6" wide wheels with 185/60/14s which look OK and ride well (Rover 1.4 K series with Escort live axle)

I would go for the same as the front - if you are using very soft (semi race) tyres at least you can then rotate them after each track day and extend their life a bit.
