Yep it's old.

Maiden voyage in 1988.

Still have it with only 250hours on the clock.
That equals £40 hour depreciation.

AND how much fuel to run? Mine drank fuel like the proverbial fish so I switched to sailing.

The satisfaction, in any size boat, is as good; if not better.

THE beasty boat
THE beasty boat

My Locost boat!!! It only cos me £50 for the boat and donor trailer!! Its 9ft x 4ft!
Restored it last summer and havent had the weather for a maiden voyage yet! But a Johnson 25hp motor should lead to lots of laughs!!

How hard can it be?

I had several parachutes all of which were fun but the best was a PD 150 a 150sq ft 9 cell which at the time was considered pretty small and fast.

A fast parachute - not a concept I would like to test...

160 litres main tank plus 10litres reserve.

Glad I've not had time to use it for a few years.

Back in the '90s use to cost £50 for a days skying + £20 to tow it there.

Not so bad when you take a group and bend their ears for some contributions..

Had one of these before.
X Bristol race boat. turned like it was on rails.

wish I could find another like it, and convert it into a BEB (bike engined boat)

My toy is in the garage still being built. However I always envied my father's 'toys'. He said one day6s to me that the best time of his life was when he was 20 odd years old and the government gave him a Spitfire to play with. In particular they gave him these ones in the link below.
picture of spitfires

They also let him play with
Hurricanes
Defiants
Typhoons
Fairey Barracudas
Tiger moths
and a few others

Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

my best toy to date is a
Harris rotax 640 supermono race bike,
had full kit,
gibson exhausts
white power wsb forks
magnesium wheels
ohlins rear shock
ali gp250 chassis ( welds were pure art )
total weight with fluids = 126kgs
it used to stuff blades/r1,s on the twisty bits but lost out on the straights in top speed,
crashed it few times but always easy fixes.
mallory track time 54.1 secs with the bus stop.

Has to be the Busa - terrifyingly fast and probably the ugliest bike ever made - however its in my garage, its silver and blue and its fab!
