Lower ball joint fixings
Just had my viento lower wishbones chrome plated.
Now I am fixing the Transit ball joint and there is no space to put a washer under the locknut.
Under the bolt head is ok but under the lock nut is not as easy, because the lower wishbone arm is welded very close.
What have people done left the washer off or turned down a washer to fit the diameter of the head any ideas?

id try it in the luego section if no one knows, i think you need to know what the wishbone looks like to help, and i wouldnt want to take my usual
approach (bodge it) with some nice chrome bones!

Hi Mark
I take it you mean the weld runs by close to the bolt hole, if so, file a flat on the O.D. of a stainless washer and fit it with the flat against the
weld.
Hope this helps
