This was asked recently and someone posted that one or two of the robin hood prop's had historically failed. The belief was the wall on the tube was too thin.

Recent comments about robin hood (great british sportscars) have been very good.

Ask them what thickness wall / quality tube they use & if they'll guarantee it to a certain BHP. Do the same with some of the other prop manufactures and compare responses (then post on here )

i asked a question about them too, was told the stories about them being weak, so got a few quotes for others. bariley morris were £140+vat. no thank you, a local place was £138 + vat, noooooo,

dunning and fairbank came in at £105 + vat, so i went with them

ive heard of many props breaking in use, including one that wasnt a DIY effort. My mate has a nice scar on his leg from his.
