Moving pick up point on upright?
As i am using 13inch wheels on my mongoose i have to use thick spacers (20mm) which i dont want to have to do. I was wondering how much it would
affect the setup if i moved the pick up point from where it is to where the red ring is?
The suspension is fully rose jointed at every point.
Full pic.
By moving it i should have full clearence of the wheels but would it affect the setup badly?

I would have said that's going to completely change the geometry of the suspension.
Personally, I'd use the spacers.

Nothing wrong with spacers in a lightweight car with sensible width tyres
they got a bad rap in the past due to folk sticking huge cheap nasty ones with wide wheels miles away from the center of the wheel bearings and then
the wheels falling off
