Adjusting spax dampers

Which way do I turn the screw to make them stiffer? is there a normal number of clicks that cover the range of no damping to full damping?

With a light car keep to the low end of the range --- make them to hard and the wheels will not be able to follow the roads surface -- result instant unstopable spin.
