Quick Rack

Has anyone out there come across a Sierra quick rack with less than 2.9 turns lock to lock. Rally design do the kits to alter a standard rack but quickest is 2.9. I was looking for 2.4 maybe even 2.2 but in a standard rack body as its not for a 7 type car its for an autograss car so no need to shorten the body. If they are out there where can I get one??

Might be worth asking MNR, mine goes lock to lock in about 2 turns.

He asked for a Sierra one though
If you're not putting it in a roadgoing car wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to shorten the steering arms ?

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Sorry maybe I didn't explain very well...the car currently runs a standard Sierra rack and all mounts are in standard places, the only problem is that its 4 turns lock to lock. I'm after a 2.4 turn standard fitting Sierra rack. Thanks for the replies so far though

ISTR that someone, somewhere mentioned a power steering rack...? Loop the hyraulic pipe, fill with oil.
Don't know what the ratio is compared with non-PS 4 turns.
