More brakes arrived!
After installing the wilwoods up front I felt the 8" drums on the back needed a bit more.. so, a set of drums off an XR4i have arrived...
They are huge, 10" across, 2" wide... this picture just doesn't do them justice..
Anyone else using these??

Those are some big ass drums.
Interesting to know if there is any noticable difference. I really should fit some decent pads to my wilwoods, the smart pads are quite naff.

I think 10" drums used to be fitted to Granada estates. They took some stopping fully loaded...

I've got Mintex 1144's in mine and they squeal like pigs in a head lock under 5mph!

But fully loaded a Grandad weighed over 2000kg. Can't see any reason they'd be better than sierra drums on a 7, and will weigh more.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
