ASAP BRAKE PROBLEM + SVA
Hi Guys
Need some ASAP Help, wonder whether anyone else has had this problem?
My front braided brake hose wont fit into the front calipers, will go 2-3 threads in and stop. Thinking it might be a fine and a non fine thread.
Has anyone else had this problem
Worst thing is, we have sva tomorrow morning, Yes we are staying up all night... lots yet to do and leaving this so late isnt a good idea but any
ideas?
Thanks
Also we are near Chelmsford

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

2/3 of the way in sounds like a taper thread to me as suggested. Are they wilwood's - they have taper threads.

Are the Calipers 1/8" NPT ?
And the lines 10x1mm ?
I had this - the threads are very similar - I didn't realise the difference until I snapped one of the lines in the caliper
I'd already fitted one - it was tight but went in.
I had to have the calipers helicoiled to suit.
Sorry - doesn't help you for tomorrow
