split steering shaft bearing

My steering shaft is in 2 pieces so i need a bearing to hold one part in place.

What kind of bearing do i need? Does it need grub screws to hold the shaft in place of is a push fit enough?

its 14mm diameter shaft

Thanks

mikkel

I used an anti roll bar bush. Holds it in place nicely (although i've not been through IVA with it).

try again. (i've been searching for the link I needed) but the site closes the reply box when you hunt around!

Anyway - there was quite a discussion on this about a month ago - the title was...[ Fitted a lower bearing to a Sierra column in a Locost ] - admittedly not exactly what you are asking, but the bearing about 11 of us ended up buying was this one:

nice bit of kit and quick delivery too.
