rear sierra calliper probs!
i have recently had a problem with the rear sierra caliper on drivers side. the bolt which attatches the goodridge brake line to the caliper appears
to be cross threaded.it is leaking fluid and the nut wont tighten beyond finger tight. so once it gets finger tight another slight turn and it looses
its thread and comes completely loose.what length diamiter and thread are these bolts? and because the thread has gone will they need bleeding or can
i top up empty brake fluid resevoir? thanks

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Big problem with steel braided lines is you can't clamp them, to stop the fluid loss when working on it the only thing you can do is to the
resevoir right to the brim and stretch a bit of poly bag over it making an airtight seal with an elastic band.
Caliper and probably the brake line end are history.
It goes without saying you will have to bleed the affected circuit.
