Mintex 1144 pads

Hi all just posting to say i finally put mintex 1144s on my wilwood powerlites and WOW what a difference they make. I actually have a pedal that feels good and have some stopping power. only problem is now i think they are a bit too powerfull! as my Offside front wheel locks up way too soon. also need it corner weighted so that mite help alot and a fiddle with the bias bar again. The only good place for wilwood smart pads are in the bin imho!
Got my set locally which worked out cheaper than rally design.
hope this helps

Rob

I have them in my Wilwoods and the extra power is very encouraging indeed, and just in case my brake lights are not working they squeal like a pig as well! How do I stop that???

I changed mine recently too and they are a big improvement on the Smart pads. I had the same issue with one wheel locking. Corner waiting is always worth doing but I reckon you may just need to give them a few hundred miles to fully bed in as I didn't actually noticed doing it so much recently.

Mine haven't done this in general use but do start to when very hot. Maybe try some coper grease where they make contact with the caliper?
