Atlas Question

I had a cortina axle in the Tiger that has a 3.75-1 diff in it. I also aquired another Cortina axle with a 4.1-1 diff in it. When I came to swap the diffs over it became apparent that the 4.1 axle was a Coln axle and yes, I know they are about as loved as Gordon Brown, and the CWP and half shafts are smaller so I changed the whole axle over.

I have run with the Coln axle for the last 18 months but it is starting to creak under the preasure

SO....will the CWP from an Atlas axle fit the bigger Cortina diff and if so where is the best/cheapest place to get a 4.1 or 4.63 CWP???

Thanks,

Mark

Nothing is interchangeable between the Koln and Atlas, so forget that. Cheapest place for Atlas ratios is probably Rally Design, but 4.1 is a rare ratio................

Thanks for the replies...I have spoken to Tom at FOSTEK and I might be getting a 2nd hand 4.63 CWP.

That should be interesting!
