as far as i can tell, its got an ESC2 module, a stepper motor and a hall effect trigger on the distributor. This is from the sierra diagrams:

hall effect trigger:

0 bk/r goes to position 7 on the module
+ bn/y goes to pos 20
- bn to pos 15.

carb stepper has 7 wires.

by number as on diagram:

1 bn/gn to 24 on the module
2 w/y to 18
3 w/gn to 5
4 w/b to 17
5 w/bk to 4 on the module
6 w/r to 16
7 w/v to 3

this is all copied from the diagram, not sure if its right cos i didnt stop to understand it, just copied it. However, there are many other wires from the module. there is an idle adjust to earth, two wires to the temp sender, two earths, two that seem to go nowhere but are called octane adjust, a GREEN one to the COIL, various wires to two engine management relays and a few more messy ones.

Bearing this in mind, unless you are one clever git its gonna be very hard to wire it up. So, id recommend either buying the haynes book or looking in a scrapyard to get an engine loom from a similar car.

Good luck anyway...
