Anyone know what the differece is between the short and long options?

I think one is for wide body cars, that would otherwise need rack extensions....

its the stem (Rallydesign page is slightly mroe hepful).

The stem is where the column down link bolts onto. Some Ford had longer stems (Capri had long ones).

Interestingly it may be way of adjusting the downlink to avoid manifolds and such.

Short is 'standard'
