Protech Coilovers
Hi, Should protech coilovers come with a c spanner and a second collar to lock the first?

mine never, C spanner is generaly another £5.00 or so. I havent had a problem with the platforms slipping and haven't a methed of locking them
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Do they have an allen headed grubscrew in the single collar to lock it off?

nope, no locking devices. It did concern me when fitting mine but did a search on here and it seems most people think the same and never have any
problems. Mine haven't moved since sva 450 miles ago.

oh, and mine didn't come with a c spanner either. I got mine from them at the exeter show for a fiver.

Hi
However when ordered from a certain supplier they do come with a locking device on the collar if required. And the option of polly bushes if needed.
other services for the protechs are also available including dyno testing balancing and fully graphed printouts of the dampers.

Good information thanks guys. I have just been reading up on setting suspension hence the query but i have never seen them with 2 collars but thought
it was worth a check.
