Ford Prop Shaft Wanted
Mk 2 Escort 1300 engine and 4 speed box, solid back axle. One CV joint on the prop shaft has gone t's up. Unfortunately it is one of those
joints that is pressed in to the yolk and secured by a series of small pressed in lugs rather than circlips. Are these CV's replaceable in any
way or does anyone have a good prop for sale that I can shorten to suite?

yep they are easily replaceable.
Take it to your friendly propshaft place and they will do it for £40 or thereabouts.
You cut out the "stakings" and push new joint in then restake it again.
Prop places have the necessary tools.
If you struggle to find one locally, speak to your nearest truck repairer/garage and find out who they use.
