I'd go with 13" wheels and a set of slicks from Simply Sunbeams.

13 inch for sure - you'll save a fortune on tyres compared to larger sizes and get better handling to boot with the larger sidewalls offering
more compliance.
Width up to you depending how much power you are trying to put down.

Be warned that lots of trackdays demand full rollcage for sllck tyres.

I have been on loads of Trackdays on slick tyres and have not heard I must have a full roll cage.

Definitely go for some 13" wheels then look on blatchat.com for used Yokos. I've picked up a couple of sets with 2-3mm of tread for £10-40
and had them fitted and balanced for £20 cash.

Not sure what tyres and wheels have to do with Fuel Injection?

Hi
Just remember that if going to 13" from 15" and fitting slicks your ground clearance will be reduced by around 15-20mm.
CHECK THE SUMP CLEARENCES.
