Someone suggested this before and the general opinion was its not needed on a 7 type car due to the low weight

i've fitted these to a few rally cars for people, its good in mk2 escorts etc, but it would be of no use in a 7, steering would be much to
light, leading to no feeling in the steering

UNDERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
OVERSTEER is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
HORSEPOWER is how fast you hit the wall.
TORQUE is how far you take the wall with you.

My mates got one in his corsa rally car- it has a really tight lsd and is very hard work without it. No good for a 7 as you'd turn steering with
your pinkie giving no feel :-(
Wonderous is our great blue ship that sails around the mighty sun, and joy to everyone that rides along!

I have fitted a MGF column, it's smaller and lighter than the Corsa. It needs a pot wiring into the ECU loom to replace the speed sensitive
input, this gives the choice of degree of assistance or non at all, could fit a girly button instead Do you need power steering? probabley not, but
nice at parking speed then switch it off, or if some disability means you have weak arms.
