hello pple brake questions?
my axle came with no brakes at all on it and as wondering is it easy enough to put sierra disks on a mk11 axle?

Burton power do a conversion kit which needs brackets for the callipers welding on (I think). Also, have a look at http://www.105speed.com,
I think they do a conversion kit.

You just missed a complete set of Capri 3 litre rear brakes on Ebay last week -- last I saw they had a bid of a pound on them.
As for disc conversion I see GTS do caliper brakets for this --- but a word of caution from having done disk conversion in the past on Imp I can
tell you it is absolutely critical the that the caliper is 100% square to the disc or you willl get a spongey pedal although float caliper leave more
room for manouver in this respect.
I used to offer the caliper up in place with the hydraulics connected and get the magicians assistant to press the brake pedal to clamp the
caliper square on the disc while I welded it up..
