lengthening a Mk2 escort steering rack

does any one know which tie rods to use to lengthen the rack.

Someone on the site was selling rod end adaptors to do exactly what you want - but I cannot remember who, - not helping very much am I? !!!!!!!!!!!

ps. I should make it clear that I am talking about track rod extensions which you use with standard Escort Mk2 track rod ends.

I could do it myself, but as it is a major component i wondered if any one knew if the links could be exchanged for another part , longer links
