sierra track rod end size
Can anyone tell me the size of the sierra track rod end taper? Is it the same as the escort?
Basically im looking for a track rod end to fit onto my escort steering rack, but also into my BMW hubs. Thetaper on the BMW ones are bigger than the
escort ones.

For a start a lot depends on which Escort the rack is from not only Mark of Escort but model.
Escort Mk1 has a small taped UNF thread track rod end.
Escort Mk2 TRE has the same threads and taper as the Sierra.
Escort Mk2 RS models are different again.

Mondeo has a bigger taper than the sierria. and an M18 Thread other end. IIRC
Scot's do it better in Kilts.
