Top speed
I have just bought some wheels with 185/60 R14 tyres on and was wondering what topspeed I would get with a 3.62 diff and gixer 1100 engine/gearbox. I
was also wondering, should I get some 185/55 tyres for hillclimbing as this would give me faster acceleration and better handling (due to smaller side
wall).

3.62 diff and 1100 engine don't mix well I strongly suspect you will have little or no acceleration in 4th gear and might not even get to
peak power rpm in 3rd --- even with cylcle wings and no windscreen the Seven has the aerodynamics of a barn door. A 4.14 or even a 4.44 final drive
ratio would be a better choice.
Without changing the gearing top speed will be below 80 with the right gearing the top speed should be in the high 80s low 90s

A 4.14/4.44 would give an even lower top speed.

According to Chris's bike ratio spreadsheet it shoud be somewhere around 110mph so I will stick with 185/60 for track days and hillclimbs.

I misunderstood you have bike engine in which case if you have 110bhp it will give you 110 mph

British trident....
I think he has a GSXR (gixer) 1100. Which will put him above the 110bhp i think.....
Anyway doesnt the diff ratio depend on whether you want acceleration or top speed? If you are hill climbing i assume acceleration is the better of the
two....

Yep, thats why I opted for a 3.62 rather than 3.38 or 3.14. Also, you can get an LSD without having to make it.
