Rear brakes again

I want to fit rear discs and need to reduce the rear braking effort ,currently on drums.I have a wilwood proportioning valve but been told it wont work because the pressure in the system is to low.

Would a valve from a mondeo fitted to the m/c be suitable . What have others used.

Just stick with drums -- on your they are working well below their stopping capacity.

Rear drums have some advantages over discs in a road car, a much better handbrake, brakes shoes last twice as long as brake pads. and they self-servo at low pedal pressure.

Perhaps you should of added that in the orginal post, maybe someone could of given advice on that too.

Fitting a valve in the m/c would work, i'm guessing you have single sierra one, instead of twins.
